Limited 3 day warrantee on all services: Whenever we repair a computer, we offer a three day guarantee that the same issue doesn't repeat itself. Since viruses and "bugs" are so common with computers today, most companies don't offer any type of warrantee on services at all but we at SOS Computer repair are the exception to this rule.
SOS Computer offers a limited 30 day warrantee for all hardware sold which covers manufacturer's defects. This does not include misuse, incompatibility or operational ignorance.
Most products are also covered by the manufactures themselves and their information is in the documentation given to you at the time of sale.
We offer a No Fix, No Fee guarantee
This means, if you hire us to fix a specific issue and at the end of the service call the issue is not corrected, we will not charge you for the service call.
Upon completion of the service, the technician will demonstrate to you that the issue has been resolved. payment of services is then considered acceptance by the customer

Computer Diagnostics
OK, you have a computer problem. You can see something's not right but what is the problem, exactly?
Is it a simple fix costing a few dollars or do you need a whole new system?
A computer diagnostics will tell us exactly what the issue is. Be is a hardware problem, like a video card or power supply or a virtual issue like a virus or incompatibility conflict. This can save you much time, money and a whole lot of grief. We charge a standard fee of $25 for a basic diagnostics.

Viruses, Malware, Trojans, Worms, Spyware and other Gremlins
Very common problem that if not taken care of quickly, only gets worse.
You catches these "Gremlins" off of infected websites, Emails and bad software.
Once infected you're computer goes "crazy". It might slow down, then speed up, then really slow down, freeze up, shut down, then it might start to discreetly erase files. It can even destroy hardware by overloading. Face it, free software and quick fixes (as well as clever neighbors) might not be enough to completely remove these dangerous pests.
The longer they're on your system the harder it is to remove and the more damage is done. Anti-virus and anti-spyware programs don't always do the job but, our technicians always do.
Watching our technicians in action can be a rewarding and educational experience.

Computer Maintenance
So often neglected, PCs need to be cleaned up and fine-tuned.
Most modern systems have very basic self-maintaining software that is realistically, inadequate. Manufactures and technicians alike recommend having your computer serviced once a year to avoid unpleasant surprises.
We'll stop by your home or office and open the system, dust it out completely, erase all unnecessary files, clean the registry, remove unneeded software, check the voltage, verify the hard drive, motherboard, input devices and other important that vary from specific systems and and prepare it for the coming year.
This simple procedure can save you mush time and money, not to mention grief. Just like having your car looked at once in awhile, it's a good idea to have your computer occasionally maintained.
